Today our strength portion focuses on unilateral strength with the single-arm KB/BB deadlift. The idea behind this is to use your core to brace against an uneven load. Keeping the KB/BB on one side, you’ll lift this like a trap-bar deadlift. Resist the urge to buckle to your loaded side. Go as heavy as you can with proper form.
The AMRAP is a double push with thrusters and pushups. Two movements that recruit the upper body push with a lower body squat. Don’t blink. It’ll be over in 10 minutes.
