Open WOD 14.3

Today we’re hitting one of my favorite Open WODs of all the years in the Open. A deadlift ladder of increasing weight and reps with a constant rep scheme of box jumps. But it all starts with some strength training the deadlift first. As always when working with higher percentages, form and technique are key. Chest up, pulling with your glutes and hamstrings, and keeping your upper back tight will keep your low back safer from injury.

Strength:

Deadlift: 5-4-3-2-1 @ 65-85% respectively

Conditioning:

Complete as many reps as possible in 8 minutes of:
10 Deadlifts (135/95)
15 box jumps (24/20”)
15 Deadlifts (185/135)
15 box jumps
20 Deadlifts (225/155)
15 box jumps
25 Deadlifts (275/185)
15 box jumps
30 Deadlifts (315/205)
15 box jumps
35 Deadlifts (365/225)
15 box jumps
