“Snatch-style D.T.”

D.T. is a great Hero WOD that test not only the physical capacity of the athlete but also the mental capacity. At 155/105, the weight is heavy but not unbearable. Put that over 5 rounds and you start questioning your sanity halfway through round 3 (LOL). Today brings us a variation that tests our abilities in the snatch (D.T. mainly test the C&J). Try to keep your strategy the same and focus on each part of the lifts.

As always with Hero WODs, remember that someone died so you could honor them.

Strength:

In 20min, work to a heavy complex – 3 Snatch pulls + 1 Snatch

Conditioning:

12 Snatch-grip Deadlifts (115/85)
9 Hang Power Snatches
6 Overhead Squats
